Study in Malta

English-speaking, small, and focused on a few strong niches.

Scholarship route available Self-funded route available Job-search options, employer-led in practice after graduation

Malta teaches in English, which removes the language barrier entirely, and concentrates its strengths in maritime law, digital economy regulation, tourism and English language teaching.

Programmes are small, so places are limited and non-EU applications close early.

Not needed for master's. Required for doctorate.

Doctoral study is arranged with a supervisor and approved by the faculty board.

What they favour

  • Realistic budgets

Where applications fail

  • Applying late for a small cohort
